Meet the founder
Devon Jennings is the founder and lead designer of Veld. For the past three years he has built Veld into a studio with a single obsession: websites that don't just look good, but make people experience a business — the kind of site that makes a visitor want to book, enquire or pick up the phone.
Devon's path into web design is an unusual one. He holds a BSc in Quantitative Risk Management from North West University and built his career in data — starting as a data engineer and now working as a senior data scientist. That analytical background is exactly why Veld is fixated on conversion: every decision, from layout and motion to load speed, is judged on whether it actually turns visitors into customers. It's also why Veld builds fully custom, hand-coded websites — no WordPress, no Framer, no templates — engineered for speed, 3D immersion and results that off-the-shelf builders simply can't match.
He started Veld after watching too many businesses get burned by part-time designers delivering subpar sites — websites sold as lead-generating machines that ended up as dead assets, quietly costing money instead of making it. Veld exists to change that. Whether it's a specialty coffee brand, a videographer or a psychology practice, the goal never changes: a website that makes a business stand out, makes people feel it, and works as hard at winning clients as its owner does.
